Here at Timber Ridge Living, we like to do things a little different than others. We have a small operation of registered Texas Longhorn cattle in Central Illinois. We focus on a small quantity of breeding stock to produce better offspring for the future of the industry. We understand the importance of structure, fertility, and docility that any breeder would want, but also enjoy the unique characteristics of the Texas Longhorn breed with flashy colors, exceptional horns, and leaner beef with low saturated fats.
Our Texas Longhorn Lean Beef program provides a healthier way of eating red meat. Longhorn beef has less cholesterol and calories than white meat.
